Development Story
From day one, we approached development with both speed and real-world context in mind. By running parallel design efforts, we balanced system architecture with hands-on prototyping, building early physical models to evaluate how technical components would fit into a compact, soldier-ready device. As a full-spectrum small business, we handled everything in-house: mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software development. We rapidly iterated through design cycles using 3D printing, CNC milling, and real user feedback. The result is a tightly integrated system, built from the ground up to support mission needs and capable of native integration with ATAK.
We embedded veterans from our team into the process to conduct functional testing and provide mission-specific insight. Their experience helped bridge the gap between user needs and engineering execution, shaping a device that supports operational realities rather than lab assumptions. We considered every detail, from available power sources in theater to kit space and night vision compatibility, which led to the inclusion of a full-color touchscreen capable of displaying maps, routes, and tactical overlays without overwhelming the user.
Rather than replicate the limited functionality of legacy GPS tools, we reimagined what dismounted navigation could deliver in denied and degraded environments. The result is a mission-ready device validated through extensive demos with Special Operations, infantry, sustainment, and technical support users. It is versatile enough to serve as either a primary or secondary tool, with streamlined updates, secure software, and a production-ready design built to perform in the toughest conditions.

The handheld tracks multiple M‑Code signals on both L1 and L2, automatically shifting to the clearest frequencies when interference appears. Beam‑forming antennas and real‑time signal verification strip out spoofing and cut jamming power by more than 40 dB. The result is centimeter‑level accuracy even inside dense electronic‑warfare zones.

Soldier Centric Design and Endurance
Engineered for operational simplicity and resilience, the handheld combines a rugged touchscreen with tactile button controls, ensuring ease of use in all environments. Its compact, lightweight design—just 320 grams—fits naturally into the warfighter’s loadout. Powered by four hot-swappable AA batteries, it delivers over 19 hours of continuous performance even in subzero conditions. The auxiliary quick-access display and enhanced UI/UX minimize downtime and maximize situational awareness during mission-critical moments.

Emission Controlled Security
Designed for modern threat landscapes, the system integrates M-Code with support for CA, Y-Code, Galileo, and QZSS, ensuring signal access across secure global networks. Its emission-controlled architecture minimizes electronic signature, reducing detectability in contested environments. Seamless data exchange with ATAK and WinTAK platforms enables secure mission planning, map updates, and intelligence sharing, while its modular design ensures long-term adaptability to evolving battlefield needs.

Use Cases
The JMHH Inc 1 delivers trusted Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (A-PNT) for the modern warfighter. Built on the JMHH Joint Program of Record, it provides unmatched reliability, interoperability, and performance across a wide range of operational scenarios.
Dismounted Ops
Built for warfighters on the move, the device delivers M-Code accuracy with intuitive Android-based mapping, route planning, and mission overlays in a rugged, handheld form.
Joint Force Sync
Seamlessly share routes, map layers, and points of interest across units using ATAK, enabling real-time coordination and rapid battlefield synchronization at the point of need.
Signal Loss
Even in GPS-denied or contested environments, TAG’s fusion engine maintains trusted position and timing data by integrating inertial and GNSS inputs for assured PNT.
Vehicle Ready
Fully compatible with legacy DAGR mounts, the device installs instantly with no new wiring or hardware, enabling immediate deployment in any tactical or wheeled vehicle.
